Growing up in an established family remodeling business, Claire has always been immersed in the construction industry. The smell of sawdust reminds her of visiting jobsites as a kid! Beyond fond memories, she gained a strong understanding of construction and how things go together, as well as insights about how contractors work and the challenges they face. This allows Claire to anticipate the needs of installers and contractors she’s partnering with, often saving her clients valuable time, money, and unnecessary stress throughout the process!
In 2013, Claire combined her foundational knowledge of construction with a strong sense of creativity and problem solving, earning her Kitchen & Bath Design Certificate from Century College and beginning work at Studio M Kitchen & Bath shortly thereafter. As a designer, Claire enjoys helping clients balance what they want with what will work best in their space. She loves to discuss all the options, so clients are really able to explore the possibilities! Claire’s goal is for each client to feel completely comfortable when the time comes to make final design decisions for their project.
During her time at Studio M Kitchen & Bath, Claire has earned a reputation for her incredible attention to detail, her broad industry knowledge, and most of all her commitment to the satisfaction of each and every client she works with. Danielle is the third generation of her family to be involved in the design industry. As a small child, she was fascinated by the blueprints that her father brought home from the commercial drywall and plaster company that was founded by her grandfather.
After completing her AAS degree in Interior Design, Danielle continued her studies at the Florence Design Academy in Italy. She loved the vibrant, multi-cultural European environment where all walks of life bring their country’s design style to life. During her studies in Europe, her passion for design was heightened when she realized that the kitchen was truly the heart of the home – and that became her inspiration to take on the NKBA accredited program in Kitchen and Bath Design upon her return to the US.
While Danielle has enjoyed working on projects of all sizes and styles, she feels that the transitional style really resonates with Minnesotans’ tastes, which tend to be grounded in solid, lasting design, with tasteful bits of personality added through hardware, tile, or lighting. Danielle tailors her designs to match her clients’ unique styles.
Danielle is an active committee member in the local chapter of the National Association of the Remodeling Industry (NARI) and enjoys networking with local remodelers and builders. Her broad appreciation of design and style and her proficiency with CAD design software make her a valuable member of the Studio M Kitchen & Bath team, while her quick smile and vibrant, outgoing personality endear her to her clients.

Shawn has been in the Kitchen and Bath industry for over 30 years. While he has designed spaces of every shape, size, and style imaginable, his favorite style is a tasteful mix of rustic and contemporary. Prior to joining Studio M Kitchen & Bath, Shawn spent 17 years doing cabinetry work for various builders and remodelers. He did such a great job for the contractor’s clients that they often had him do their own kitchens!
Clients love working with Shawn because he really gets to know them well. They develop a rapport that starts with the project, but often continues as an enduring friendship. His designs reflect how clients want to feel when they are in the space. He enjoys the challenge of seeing beyond a tired, dated space and envisions the potential for something new and exciting. But there is another important aspect of remodeling: the unique characteristics of the existing house. Shawn’s years of experience allow him to spot potential issues or problems that should be addressed during the remodeling process, ultimately saving his clients time and money.
